Tips for Choosing Photos/Artwork for Round Magnets

To ensure your picture looks its best on a round magnet, follow these guidelines:

1. Centre the subject The main focus (faces, text, or key objects) should be in the centre of the photo. Avoid placing important details near the edges, as they will be cropped out. This image shows the ideal style of photo to submit.
2. Ensure there is enough background for the bleed area Round magnets require a large “bleed area” that wraps around the back—this area won’t be visible. Keep essential elements well within the central safe zone. This image shows the area of the photo that will needed for manufacturing. This will not show on the finished magnet.
3. Check the corners The corners of square or rectangular photos will be the first to get cut off. Make sure nothing important is positioned there.
4. Visualise the round crop Use a round template (or even a circular cut out) to preview how your photo will look once cropped. This image shows the area of the photo that will show on the finished magnet.
5. Prioritise quality  Use clear, high-resolution images—blurry or pixelated photos/images will not print well. Consider the lighting - well lit photos give the best result

Artwork required orders. If you require our artwork services, first, on this page select the 'Personalised backing card' option in the packaging drop down box - this adds a small supplement to cover the print costs of your design and then upload your magnet image. You also need to add artwork services to your order - click here to add a one quantity on the linked page. This is one time amount, regardless of the quantity of same design cards you are ordering. Please follow the instructions on that page.

Artwork supplied orders.  If you can supply artwork ready to print then simply select the 'Personalised backing card' option in the packaging drop down box - this adds a small supplement to your order. Then upload your print ready card artwork along with your magnet photo file. Files can be any format that's readable by the Adobe Creative Suite, must be high resolution, one printed side only and sized to 8.8cm x 13cm. Alternatively you can email the artwork to us - info@gifts2remember.co.uk, remembering to quote your order number.

Personalised Products

Manufacturing time varies by product/brand and generally takes 1 to 5 working days - this can be longer during peak periods (Aug - Oct). Please note that Next Day/Tracked 24 delivery applies from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. If your order is urgent please specify in the product page special instructions box or contact us to discuss your requirements.
