Telling Time Pocket Flash Cards

This flash card set contains 56 cards: 52 analogue clock cards and four information and activity cards.

The clock cards have all the o'clocks, fifteens, thirties, and forty-fives for each hour. These groups are colour-coded for easy sorting. For extra challenge, there are also four cards with five-minute increments. The reverse of each clock card gives the digital form and time words for the time on the clock.

Children can use the telling time cards in the following fun ways for learning time, and you can make up your own activities too!

Time Fun. Start out by working with the "o'clock" cards, then the "thirty" cards, working up to the "fifteen" and "forty-five" cards.

Look and Say. Look where the hands are pointing on the clock face, then say the time. Turn the card over to see if you're right. Stack the right answer cards together. How many clocks did you identify? Score a point for each.

Sorting Fun. Shuffle the cards so they are out of order. Pick 10 cards randomly out of the stack. Put them in order by their time. Shuffle the cards again and try with 24 cards.
